Journal Square is Jersey City’s newest up-and-coming neighborhood. Historically the commercial center of Jersey City, Journal Square is undergoing a renaissance that will restore it as one of the most desirable places to live on New Jersey’s Gold Coast. Journal Square is home to numerous neighborhood amenities including eating and drinking establishments, banks and shopping. The enclave of ”Little India”, with some of the best Indian restaurants in the entire region, is nearby. Further, the historic Loew’s Jersey Theatre, offering live performances and movies, is directly nearby.

A block away the 24 Hour PATH subway takes you direct into Manhattan connecting to World Trade Center, Midtown Manhattan, and the fun East Village in 3 stops. Connections to A C E 1 2 3 B D F M D L N J R Q MTA lines. Not just great for eastward stops, the Journal square hub connects the urban west Hudson community of Jersey City, Hoboken, and Newark from downtown nightlife at Grove street and Hoboken, Mall shopping at Newport, Exchange Place financial center and beautiful pier, and Newark’s easy access to Flights and North Jersey NJ transit lines to beaches, suburbs, and parks. Citibike is shared between NYC and Jersey City to enjoy riding around a bike friendly city.
